Waxing the hair is better due to the ability to destroy the hair follicles. Doing so causes the hair follicles to become smaller and less hair growth to occur. This ensures less discomfort and longer lasting results!
As long as you stay consistent with your waxing schedule every 4-6 weeks and DO NOT Shave in between wax appointments, your results will be amazing!
First, you will need anywhere from 2-3 weeks worth of hair growth for waxing. I like to say at least 1/4 of and inch long or the size of a grain of rice.
Second, Ditch the Razor! No more Shaving...especially in between appointments!
Lastly, Exfoliate & Hydrate! Exfoliate 2-3 times a week and 48 hours prior to your wax appointment. Doing this will ensure better results!
It is crucial that you follow all waxing post care instructions to ensure the best and healthiest result possible.
For 48 Hours there is Absolutely NO:
Wear loose fit clothing and undergarments as this will help to lessen any irritation. These rules are in place to ensure you do not cause bacteria to get into those open follicles! Make sure you exfoliate 72 Hours Post Wax you need to start exfoliating. You will need either a physical or chemical exfoliant to keep your skin at its best!
This is a great question, and can vary for each individual. It can take anywhere from 4-8 consistent waxing sessions to ensure the best results and to have the hair on a similar growth rate and length. Shaving cuts the hairs off at different lengths causing irregular lengths in growth. Hair grows in 3 stages; Anagen, Telogen & Catagen. It takes those consistent waxes to get super smooth results! Results typically last 2-3 weeks! Staying consistent with your wax appointment is key!
